Following the attacks on September 11th 2001 in USA, the European Community strengthened all of the standards regarding aviation security.
The Swedish Transport Agency handles the approvals according to the EU regulation No 300/2008. This Security Approval means that you follow certain security measures while dealing with goods to be shipped by air-freight. This simplifies the handling of the consignment for the forwarder.
Cerlic has made required changes in production, educated personell and set up visiting procedures at the facility etc. Our Approval is registered within EU and is durable for five years, after that we will have a new inspection/evaluation. We believe that as a consignee you will also have advantages connected to the Cerlic approval.
